Al Jazeera: Hong Kong police storm protesters' university stronghold
18 Nov 2019
Hong Kong police have stormed a university campus held by protesters, following a standoff that lasted all night. This happened after some protesters hurled petrol bombs and even shot arrows at police officers who fired back with tear gas and water cannon. Schools and some universities are shut for a second week, and some of the protesters say they will not back down till democracy returns to the self-governing territory.
Al Jazeera's Sarah Clarke reports from Hong Kong.
